Description
I'm trying to get a feel for drawing this character for the Crow Messenger short story I'm doing. Haha he went from this orange red to having blonde hair. And his hairstyle and clothes keep changing. I need to stop being indecisive. I still need to get an idea for his surroundings too. -_-* The bg is terrible for this sketch I know...but I needed something to fill it in.

weeeee! I can't wait to see your comic! He's adorable- very sad looking though and the crow is cute but I have a feeling that it's being mean to him. The background is actually quite nice and just detailed enough to complent the nice sketch.
I know how that goes with characters sometimes...sometimes I'll have one character and I know exactly what they look like and act like and wear and then other times it's like I can't decide what to do with them- like I can't find the character so I can't draw them. I say keep playing with it until you find the character. He's looks will be very important - as well as- they way you draw him. It'll decide how the audience feels about him, his aura and perhaps explain more about him than any word could.
